How old do you have to be to get something pierced w/o a parent in Ontario?

I want to get my lip or my tongue pierced but i don't think that my mom will let me. How old do you have to be ?How old do you have to be to get something pierced w/o a parent in Ontario?

Probably 16+? or around there. when you're considered a adult. I live in ontario too lol. So i know :P
16 or 18....i tried wheni was 16...but they said i had to will till i was 18...went to a different place and they did it there at 16
