What is it called when a parent is mad at you because of some other problems?

I know there is a name for it. I'm just trying to remember what it's called when a parent gets mad at you for no reason because they are indirectly taking their anger out about something on you? What is it called when a parent is mad at you because of some other problems?
Projecting. They are taking their feelings about something else and making them into feelings of anger at you. What is it called when a parent is mad at you because of some other problems?
It is a transference of anger. The parent is not really so angry at the child, as just plain frustrated at the world in general, and it comes out as grouchiness toward another family member.

If the offspring are clever enough, they just smile and roll with the punches. It would be nice if the tired and weary parents could remember to leave their troubles outside the front or back door, but this is hard to do. Please be forgiving children.
Displaced anger. Sometimes a parent takes it out on the children because they are an easier target. Sounds like you already know it is not you but something else.
I would like to know the same thing..My mom does that to me every day..she comes home from work pissed off at her boss and her co-workers and blames it all on me, yelling at me for no reason.
