Is it legal for a minor to go to another state that requires parent consent to get tattooed?

I live in North Carolina and here it is illegal for a minor to get tattooed no matter what. I am looking to go to Virginia, because in Virginia you can get a tattoo with parent consent. One of the stipulations though is being able to provide an address and phone number. I am wondering if this will conflict because of my North Carolina address and phone number.Is it legal for a minor to go to another state that requires parent consent to get tattooed?

Not sure, if you have a friend who is an artist who could ask them. Or if you know a cop lawyer or something like that you could ask them.

lol no you'll be fine. I did the same thing. Just make sure that ur sure on the tattoo that u want. dont get something stupid like a skull and crossbones or a cliche cross... get something custom brah. good luck d00d
It depends on how the laws are written, for that state. Your best bet would be to call a studio (preferably the one you want to go to) and ask. Even if there isn't a law against it, the shop has its own policies, which may be stricter.
