What is the legal age in Indiana that a child can choose which parent they wish to live with?

I'm writing a story about a girl who's parents get divorced, and am wanting to mention how old she has to be to chose with which parent she wants to live. What is the legal age in Indiana that a child can choose which parent they wish to live with?
A child cannot choose only a judge can make that decision and most judges look more at the maturity level of a child than they do the age, they also look at the financial stability of the parents and do listen to what the child's wishes are.~What is the legal age in Indiana that a child can choose which parent they wish to live with?
14 in most states
18.

Once a child is of ';the age of discretion'; (and it's up to the judge to decide that on a case-by-case basis) then the judge is required to take her wishes into consideration - but he's not bound by them.

If a 16 year old would rather live with her 'cool' but unemployed pot smoking motorcycle gang member convicted felon Dad and his biker buddies in their crash pad than with her boring doctor mother in the suburbs the judge will listen to her tell him that - and then send her to Moms.
