What would you do as a parent? If you saw someone elses's child, being molested by another child?

Especially when the other parent, was somewhere off not paying attention to where their child was. I was so upset when I saw this activity taking place, with the children being so young. I was really upset with that irresponsible parent, and wanted to do something to that person and it wasn't even my child. I was furious; I tried my best addressing this matter to the other non present parent. In my doing so; it seemed as if that parent, really wasn't that serious about being concerned about where the behavior was originating from. What would you do as a parent? talk to both parents and if the child molester's parents dont listen then tell them you'll go to the police. dont get mad at the child though, it's not his or her fault, he or she was most likely molested and is still being molested, so you'll want to report this to the police. What would you do as a parent? If I were the parent of the child being molested, I would contact his parents, and possibly the authorities. I would also most likely take legal action. Molestation is a serious crime, and the numbers of children affected by it go up every year. It can lead to depression, numerous pschologic problems, and a lingering sadness that it happened. I want to help make America a better place for children, so they won't have the type of life I had as I was growing up.
called the police. reported to dcf. you never ever ever let a child suffer regardless of what the circumstances are. I dont care how old the other child was, you call the police and report the other two parents.
If i was you i would go and yell at the child molesting the other little kid, then even know it isn't your child i would have gone and talked to both parents (the molester's and molestee's)
You should tell the parent of the child who was being molested. You don't say how old the children were. Small children are curious and will often want to ';see'; what the other one looks like. This is common around 5 or 6 and usually only requires that parents talk to the children about their bodies and privacy. If there was more going on than just looking, chances are the child doing the ';molesting'; has been exposed to something or has seen something that set this off. It might have been something as simple as watching a movie that wasn't age-appropriate or seeing someone engaged in sexual activity of some sort, or it might be that the child has been molested.

You really should talk to the parent of the child that was being molested, and do it soon. You don't know if this was the first time this has happened or not, but it should definitely not be ignored.

If these kids were older, say 10 or 11 or above, it should be reported to the parents of both children.
