Are there limitations on how a parent can raise their children? Is there a law? Can you provide link to scholarly journals and articles. Are there limitations on how a parent chooses to raise their kids?
There are laws for disciplining children, but as far as raising... like morals and rules, I'm fairly sure there aren't any regulations on that. Now I know that parents can get in trouble if their way of raising their children, such as their religious beliefs, is harmful to the child. Like not providing medical care, or not feeding the child. It all varies by State I believe. Are there limitations on how a parent chooses to raise their kids?
Well obviously you can't throw your child out the window if they misbehave but you have the options to do anything that is not considered corporal child abuse basically. It's pretty easy to figure it out...
Of course. It is called Child Protective Services and they will limit what they consider appropriate care. There are many laws regarding how to raise children, most of them dealing with safety.
Only when said practices can be classified as abuse or neglect.
