I owe two thousand dollars before the start of the spring semester. I am unable to pay it due my other never ending household bills or the kids needing something else. I work a full and part itme job but just unable to have any extra to pay toward my college debt. This is my senior year and I am eager to earn this degree so that it will change my circumstances. Where can I ge a loan w/o having the best credit. Are there any special scholarships for a person like myself?Where can a single parent african american woman find help paying for college?
Did you file your fafsa paperwork? Also, try fastweb.org, they have thousands of scholarships listed daily...you complete a questionaire and it will tailer emails specifically to meet your purposes as far as scholarship offerings. Another place you may want to try is your college website, I know mine has a listing of scholarships available and you can apply directly through the website.Where can a single parent african american woman find help paying for college?

-There's a website I used my senior year of High School during the big college search. Not only did it help me search through specific school information (such as the best school for specific degrees, costs, locations, etc...), helping me find which one was right for me, but in the meantime it lets you apply for numerous student loans, scholarships, and aid funds. I highly recomment it to anyone in the college decision process.
actually I live by one. Purdue University! Do you already know about it?

-There's a link to a very helpful website that lets you search specific information about schools you are interested in. It helped me a lot when I was a senior in high school. You can also apply for numerous scholarships and student loans on the site, making it a extremely useful tool in the college decision. I would highly recommend checking it out.
