Which parent has custody while the children are at school?

Mother and father (me) and I have equal - Legal and Physical Custody. For the child support calculation (California) the court said that the Mother has the children while they are at school. I say it is equal and would like to dispute this.Which parent has custody while the children are at school?
Did you appeal it within the time limit? If not, you will need to open a new case. You don't say what your difference in income is. In California, fathers with sole custody are still ordered to pay support. That's the case involving a Fresno father of eight children.

Go back to your attorney. To dispute this you will more than likely have to go back to family court unless the ex-wife agrees you can have them equally while in school. Did you sign the legal document that spelled out these stipulations? When it comes to equal custody by law, it should qualify as just that, equal whether they are in school, play or vacation. What the court says is final.. if you want to look like a selfish self righteous father.. then go ahead and dispute it.. but the courts don't take kindly to fathers who try to weasel their ways out of paying, but claim they have half or more than half the rights...
